Technology and digital consulting for businesses that need it to work first time.

Vince Cox

I've spent the last decade building technology that didn't exist yet, for organisations that needed it to work first time.

That started in fintech. Between 2015 and 2018 I worked as a developer for a scale-up delivering some of the UK's first no-face-to-face mortgage and bank account products, at a time when the idea of opening a bank account without setting foot in a branch was still genuinely novel. The clients were HSBC and NatWest. The pressure to get it right was considerable.

From there I moved into sport. Between 2018 and 2022 I worked in an innovation agency as developer and project lead to build PDMS, the Performance Data Management System now used by the majority of the UK's Olympic athletes. It's a medical records and management platform built for an environment where data integrity isn't just good practice, it's the difference between an athlete competing and not competing. I built the application, and helped build the in-house team to own it after I left.

Most recently, between 2023 and 2025, I was Head of Product at Condense Reality, a startup developing volumetric video broadcast technology. We provided the broadcast solution to the BBC's R&D team, and put that technology to use on real productions, including a live 3D stream of BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders New Music Show from Maida Vale Studios. Bringing a format that had never been broadcast live before and making it work in one of the BBC's most storied studios is the kind of project that stays with you.

What connects all of it is being brought in early, when the brief is something like “we need this to exist and we need it to work,” and finding a way to make that happen.

Before any of this, I was a chef. Cooking professionally through my twenties was what funded my BSc in Computing at the Open University, where I graduated with a 2:1. Running a kitchen and running a technology project have more in common than people expect: both are about keeping complex systems moving under pressure, with no margin for the thing that matters most to go wrong.

I grew up in Spain, which shapes more of my work than it might appear to. A significant part of what I do now is focused on businesses operating in the UK-Spain corridor, whether that's removals, relocation, property, legal services, or financial services. I understand that market from the inside, not just professionally but personally. That context tends to matter.

Today I work through Indalo Digital, helping owner-managed businesses get the technology and digital infrastructure they need. The clients I work with don't usually have access to the kind of experience I've built up. That's the gap I'm here to close.

If something in here sounds relevant to what you're dealing with, the best next step is a conversation.
